Voice Teachers:

I studied voice with John Powell, Douglas College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ; and, at Juilliard, with Oren Brown (to the right)
and his assistants: Lois Bov
é and Shirley Meier. I also studied with two Metropolitan Opera stars: countertenor, Jeffrey Gall (above, and below, left) & bass, Jerome Hines (2 pictures below, to the right).

I studied accompanying with Phillis Lehrer,
an internationally acclaimed concert and collaborative pianist, and professor of music
at Westminster Choir College.

Mr. Pinkham studied organ with E. Power Biggs; harpsichord with Wanda Landowska; and composition with Water Piston, Aaron Copland, Arthur Honegger and Nadia Boulange. He taught
for many years at New England Conservatory.
I  premiered the male solos in the newly discovered chamber version of The Fauré Requiem under Mr. Pinkham at King's Chapel, Boston, where I was one of his soloists. He was a guest composer for Music Now,
