Juilliard School of Music: Bachelor of Music in musical compostion; Acedmic Scholarship in Junior year. Placed out of secondary piano, and Theory I & II. Studied composition with Vincent Persichetti, Otto Leuning, & David Diamond; & voice with Oren Brown. Studied copying with Arnold Arnstien; orchestration with Lester Trimble and ear training with Mme. Ren
ée Longy.

​Boston University: PhD work in musical composition; teaching fellowship: taught courses in Ear Training and Keyboard Harmony;
Studied with David del Tredici, Joyce Mekeel, & John Thow.


The State College of New Jersey: Master's of Arts degree in vocal performance; Teaching Assistant in Ear Training: administered ear training tests.

Boston Conseratory & New England Conservatory & Longy:

3 scholarships offered for post-graduate work in opera (participated in 2).

Rutger's Graduate School: towards a Master's Degree in Philosophy. Opera workshops (scholarships) of Valerie Goodal and Emile Renan.
