4. The Hermit from "Six Italian Love Duets" by Georg Fredric Handel: Janet Wheeler and Eileen Laurence, sopranos; with Dorothy Walters, harpsichord. Amphion Recording CL2113. Remastered by Mike Burke. Handel used music from these duets in "Messiah." I am posting these in cantatas in honor of my mother, Ms. Wheeler, who passed over on Christmas, 2015.
