And we will sit upon the Rocks, Seeing the Shepheards feed theyr flocks, By shallow Rivers to whose falls Melodious byrds sing Madrigals. And I will make thee beds of Roses And a thousand fragrent posies, A cap of flowers, and a kirtle Imbroidered all with leaves of Myrtle; A belt of straw and Ivy buds, With Corali clasps and Amber studs: And if these delights thy minde may move, Then live with mee, and be my love." |
