Remastered in 2016 by Mike Burke. Handel used music from these duets in "Messiah." I am posting these in cantatas in honor of my mother, Ms. Wheeler, who passed over on Christmas, 2015.
Translation; "No, I'll not place my faith in you, blind love, cruel beast! You are to much the deceiver, you flattering deity! Once you had power to enchain my trusting heart. But I have been given proof of your deceits; In each hour you are two tyrants."
