This is posted in dissent of the 5 Supreme Court Justices
who voted against women's constitutional right to seek abortions. One is herself a woman; one a man in a "mixed marriage" who wants to end marriage equality for others; 4 were appointed by presidents who lost by the popular vote; and 3 were appointed by a president who led an insurrection against this country. This post is dedicated to the countless women who will potentially be injured or die due to this ruling. This ruling leads our already flawed democracy that much closer to authoritarianism. All gratitude goes out to Justices Breyer, Kagen, and Sotomayor for their dissent of this ruling. |
