"PEACE" SYMPHONY CONCOURS"
THE PITCH: I see the "PEACE" Symphony in three movements: The first and last portray peace, in musical terms, the middle movment depicts war... in all of it's horrors. The work would ask the question: which would you pick. I know which I want!
MP3: Performed on two harps by Michael Rafferty and Virginia Crump.
THE SCORE: "Island of The Sirens" This piece illustrates the tranquil song of the Sirens, and the terrors of the sea monsters: Scylla and Charybdis. This movement is from my newly finished 8th Symphony: "The Odyssey" Based on the work by Homer.
